Der Ferrari 288 GTO von 1984 wurde ursprünglich als Homologationsmodell für den Rennsport entwickelt. Sein 2,9-Liter-V8 mit zwei Turboladern leistete 400 PS und beschleunigte den Ferrari auf über 300 km/h. Heute zählt der 288 GTO zu den legendärsten und seltensten Ferrari-Modellen der 1980er-Jahre.
