Der Ferrari 375 Plus Nr. 1 trat 1954 bei der Carrera Panamericana mit John McAfee und Phil Hill an. Sein gewaltiger 4,9-Liter-V12 leistete rund 330 PS und war speziell für Langstreckenrennen ausgelegt. Mit seinem offenen Barchetta-Aufbau und dem starken V12 gehört er zu den bedeutenden Ferrari-Rennwagen der 1950er-Jahre.
